Where are they Now? Kalen DeLoach Islands HS '18 Sacked the Florida State's Most Improved Defensive Player Award

Kalen earned FSU's Defensive Most Improved Player Award for 2021. Here are the highlights of his season that show why he deserved the award.

Deloach appeared in all of FSU's 2021 games and started 11. Kalen recorded 69 tackles, including 6.5 for loss with 1.0 sack, one interception, three quarterback hurries, and two pass breakups.

Recently Kalen was highlighted on FSU'S Tomahawk Nation FSU website page. FSU Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller stated in the article, "I still think the best is yet to come for Kalen DeLoach. To note, Kalen will be wearing #4 this season if you are following or watching the Seminoles this football season.

The "Coach" Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine "The Prep Sports Report" in 2000. In 2010, the "Coach" started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. He's still going strong, broadcasting on Facebook live and Twitter live every Saturday morning. You gotta love it!
