The Calvary Day School girls basketball team entered Tuesday night's GHSA Private Class A Region 3 girls basketball with a special occasion on their mind. Another Lady Cavalier would join the 1000 point club. It happened early in the game.
The Cavaliers junior guard, Mahkayla Premo, was looking to become the 12th girl's basketball player to join the 1000 point club at Calvary. Mahkayla only needed two points to attain this status, and she did early in-game with a layup. The Cavaliers went on to defeat St.Vincent's 67-41. Here is the list of the players that have accomplished this feat before Mahkayla.
