Everybody loves rankings and especially in sports. Local and state media also love to rank high school sports. We love the high school football rankings, but volleyball and softball also have state rankings.

The largest newspaper in Georgia, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, releases GHSA softball and volleyball rankings every Tuesday. Eight schools represent the Savannah area. In volleyball, five teams are ranked, and in softball, there are three teams.
