Miller T9 at Sea Island Women's Amateur

Savannah's Mary Miller, who recenlty graduated from Savannah Christian Preparatory School and will play college golf for Georgia Southern University, continued her impressive junior golf career with a T9 finish at the prestigious Sea Island Women's Amateur played May 28-31 at the Seaside Course at Sea Island Resort.

Miller, who led Savannah Christian to a second straight state team championship an won a second individual state championship in May, carded scores of 71-69-72 to complete the tournament at 2-over par and secure a Top 10 finsih.

Later in June, Miller will try to win the Georgia Girls Championship for the third time in a row at the Retreat Course at Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simon's Island. Ga.
