St. Vincent's Academy Southern Motors Honda Athlete of the Week is X-Country runner Claire Hayes.
On Saturday, Claire ran her season's best time at the Jackets' Catch 'Em Challenge 5k helping her team to a 2nd place finish!
"As a freshman, Claire ran well for the Saints. We were so happy when she came out for XC her junior year. Claire is talented and tough. She has worked so incredibly hard, and she ran a season's best time Saturday at the Jackets' Catch 'Em Challenge en route to a 2nd place team finish. Claire comes to every practice ready to work and compete. She is always smiling and makes us so proud. We know the future is bright!" -Brooke Sims, Cross Country Head Coach
