Savannah's Durham wins second straight tournament

Landon Durham, a 2021 Savannah Country Day School graduate, followed up a win at The Jacksonville Open on the North Florida Junior Golf Tour with another win at the Coastal Carolina Summer Junior Open on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.

Durham carded scores of 72-73 on the par-70 Palmetto Dunes course on Hilton Head Island to win by one stroke over Michael Porter from McDonald, Ohio. The tournament was played July 2-3.

The week before, Durham traveled to Jacksonville and claimed the Jacksonville Open in a playoff over Jacksonville's Andrew Kunkle. Durham and Kunkle both carded 4-over par 76 at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club, and Durham won the tournament on the first playoff hole.
