Anna Saxon has attended Calvary Day School since Pre-K. Anna has been a very active student on campus academically and athletically.  Saxon as a Cavalier athlete has taken part in Sideline Cheer, Competition Cheer, Basketball, and Track & Field. Saxon also found the time to take part in the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, Quill & Scroll, and Writing Center. Anna also served as Sports Editor for the school newspaper, The Gold Observer, and a National Honor Society member. Saxon also volunteered with the Special Olympics.

Anna also was an active member of Cheer Savannah starting at eleven. Saxon’s first year competing was on the J2 team at 12. Anna was an original Leather junior 4 team member which won and was crowned the Grand Champions to go on to the Worlds Competition. Saxon tore her ACL two years ago, but with a lot of hard work she returned to cheer. Saxon came back and her team scored the highest in Alabama’s Deep South event and got a bid to attend the cheerleading worlds.

Anna will attend Georgia Southern University in the Fall. Saxon will continue her cheerleading career on the college level. In May, they informed Anna that she made the Georgia Southern Cheerleading team. Congratulations to Anna for making the team. Go Eagles!
