Kelvin Leahy, a senior at Richmond Hill High School, was a leader on a Wildcat Lacrosse team that was off to a hot region start at 3 -0. The lacrosse season was also stopped due to the COVID19 pandemic. Leahey, an attackman, stated that his proudest athletic achievement was when he received  being named captain this year. Kelvin began playing lacrosse after the summer of his eight-grade year when the seniors encouraged him to play. One of those seniors who Kelvin looked up to was former Wildcat lacrosse player Matt Frost, Class of 2017. Leahy's favorite coaches quote was, "We need to pass and catch, Gentlemen!" So, true in the game of lacrosse to succeed. Kelvin has had an interest by Kennesaw State University to play, but will concentrate in college in mechanical engineering and will continue to play lacrosse for fun.
