Three Local teams need a win to stay in and others begin today - Play Ball!

It was high school playoff baseball time, and baseball was at its absolute finest on Tuesday night. What more would you expect in the second round of the GHSA baseball playoffs, good competition? Of course, we want to see our local schools move on. Well, Richmond Hill, South Effingham, and Benedictine will need one more game to move on. These three schools split the first two games in the best of three-game series, but Effingham County High School did not, as the Rebels were swept by Pope High school.

 

Besides these three "IF" games, Savannah Christian, Calvary, and Bryan County start their second-round best of the three-game series today. Below are the final scores and schedule for today's GHSA playoff second around baseball games.
