Schnaible medals at GAPPS DII state championship

Braden Schnaible, a homeschooled student playing for The Habersham School, posted a score of 1-under 71 at Bull Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Ga., on May 7 to earn medalist honors at the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools Division II state golf tournament.

Schnaible's score was only one stroke clear of runners up Triston Whitley Luke Godwin from Calvary Christian School, located in Columbus. The Habersham School's team finished fourth with other scores coming from Talyn Childress, Tyler Shippy and Lucian Warenzak.

In the Division II girls' tournament, Veritas Academy's Madi Saxton finished runner up after a score of 1-over par 73 to finish four strokes behind individual medalist Camryn Coffield from Calvary Christian School.
