St. Andrew's School Lions Roar as Three Standout Football Players Commit to College

On April 22, 2024, three talented St. Andrew's School football players—Hayward Pollard, Tripp Jackson, and Rakari Harrison—committed to pursue their athletic careers at the next level. They announced their commitment in front of their family and friends.

Hayward Pollard committed to Brevard College

Hayward Pollard, an offensive/defensive lineman, has chosen Brevard College in Brevard, North Carolina. His exceptional skills and leadership qualities have earned him recognition as an All-Region player and All Savannah Morning News Honorable Mention. His dedication to the sport and strong work ethic set him apart on the field, making him a promising addition to the college team.

 

Rakari Harrison Commits to Erskine College

Rakari Harrison's talents as a tight end/defensive lineman on the football field have led him to commit to Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. Rakari's exceptional skills and commitment have gained him recognition at the area and state levels, earning him a spot on the All-Region, All-State, and All-Savannah Morning News 2nd Team. His selection to all these teams solidifies his position as a top football player in the area. With his talent and drive, Rakari is set to make an impact at Erskine College.

Tripp Jackson Commits to Wheaton College

Tripp Jackson, an offensive/defensive lineman, has chosen to continue his football journey at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. His playing awards are being a two-time All-Region selection and receiving honors from Savannah Morning News twice. Tripp's role as team captain speaks volumes about his leadership abilities. His commitment to excellence positions him well for success in college and beyond.

These three Lions show promising potential for their efforts in football, and the St. Andrew's School community and Savannah, Georgia, eagerly anticipate following their journey with pride.
