Bryan County High School Softball Rolls to 10th Straight Win

The Bryan County High School softball team remained undefeated yesterday, Tuesday, September 1, 2020. The Lady Redskins defeated Emanual County Institute 5-2 in a key region game.  ECI was the Atlanta Journal Constitution preseason #6 ranked team in the state and 4 time defending region champs. 

Highlights form the game for the Lady Redskins were Rebecca Johnson who went 3  for 3, with a double, and Mackenzie Mobley who had a double with a huge RBI  in the 3rd inning to give the Lady Redskins the lead. Hayden Joyner was the winning pitcher. Joyner only allowed two hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one. Bryan County takes on St. Vincent’s at home today and travels to Region rival Claxton tomorrow, September 3rd.
