    Islands High School is considered a traditional, community high school with comprehensive offerings including honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses for students in grades 9-12. A wide variety of courses are available in all content areas including Visual and Performing Arts, World Languages, Physical Education and Career and Technical Education. Islands High School also offers two choice specialty programs to which students from outside of the attendance zone may apply for enrollment. The choice programs are Environmental/Biological Scientific Research and Veterinary Science. A full complement of varsity sports teams are available for students.

    Islands High School is proud to offer a wide variety of varsity sports for students to participate in. Since the school opened in 2010, many sports have been added to give the students more options. Our fall sports include softball, volleyball, football and cross country. Our winter sports include wrestling, basketball and swimming. Spring sports include soccer, baseball, lacrosse, track and field and tennis. Cheerleading is a fall and winter sport.
