Memorial Day School was established in 1971 by the membership of Memorial Baptist Church in the belief that an educational experience based on academic excellence and Christian principles should be provided for young people in the community. Its history is steeped in a rich tradition of providing a strong college preparatory curriculum supported by a highly competent and motivated faculty.
Memorial has been very successful on the field of competition with its many athletic programs. With a focus on the development of the total individual, its student athletes are known by their opponents for their mental and physical toughness. With a proud history in football, basketball, baseball, softball, track, golf, and competitive cheerleading, Memorial has been honored with numerous regional and state championships.
