Savannah Christian

Savannah Christian Preparatory School (SCPS) is an independent, non-denominational PK-12 college prep Christian school. Founded in 1951, SCPS has contributed to the education of more than 5,000 students at some point during their educational journey. There are currently more than 3,500 alumni, nearly 1,800 students on campus every day, nearly 1,400 current family households and more than 200 employees.

Savannah Christian Athletics have a tradition of winning—on and off the field. The records speak for themselves; Savannah Christian teams routinely have won sub-region, region, area, and state titles since the 1970s. The Upper School currently competes in Region 3-A of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA). The success Savannah Christian athletics has enjoyed underscores that if a school sets as its priorities teaching its players right from wrong, teaching them that winning is not the ultimate goal and that what remains paramount is the individual effort each brings to the team, then success will take care of itself.
