Frederica Academy wins Savannah Middle School Golf Championship

Frederica Academy's Campbell Williams ran away with the Savannah Middle School Golf Championship played at the Savannah Golf Club on May 10, and his teammates helped the Knights from St. Simon's Island earn an 11-stroke victory over runner-up St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School.

Campbell carded a 6-under par 31 on the Savannah Golf Club's front nine, and St. Peter's 8th grader Chad Chadwell was alone in second place after posting a score of 4-under 33. Also under par were Frederica's Jack Roberts with a 1-under par 36 and Hancock Day School's Hamp Threlkeld with a 1-under par 36.

St. Peter's and Hancock Day School finsihed tied for second with a total score of 157, and Savannah Country Day was fourth with a total score of 166.
