Sixth-grader Georgia McDonald led the way with a 41, earning low-medalist honors. Eighth graders Victoria Grant and Shayna Patel each followed with rounds of 42, and Ayda Mills, a seventh grader, posted a 51.

The approach stayed simple.

“We just hope they have a positive attitude, enjoy the moment, and have a great time out there,” head coach Melissa Brag said.

And when the moment came, they did just that, staying positive and bouncing back when they needed to.

Boys Get It Done

The boys' team followed with a title of its own, winning its eighth league championship and seventh in the last eight years.

Head coach Randall Boone pointed to what mattered most.

“I was very impressed by the determination and commitment that each player demonstrated throughout the year. We are very thankful to have players/parents that put the time and resources into their love for the game and our programs,” Boone said.

That showed up when it counted.
