Who's got game at the Coastal Georgia Buccaneers & SCCPSS Senior Hoops All-Star Game ?

Savannah, GA: This year, the Savannah Chatham County Public School System Senior All-Star Game is coming to Savannah State University! 

The SCCPSS Senior All-Star showcase will take on a new look this year as the Coastal Georgia Buccaneers host this riveting event. The Coastal Georgia Buccaneers, a Semi-Pro Team in Savannah, GA, will host the annual Senior All-Star Showcase at Savannah State University on March 23rd-24th, 2024. Savannah, you want to attend this highly anticipated event!

The players have been handpicked by Savannah's top basketball influencers, World of Media (I.G.: @itstheworldofmedia) and 912 Suspense (I.G.: @912_suspense, YouTube: @912suspense). The showcase is a collaborative effort with Jennifer Goodwin, Events Coordinator for the Savannah Shootout, and retired Sol C. Johnson High coaching legend Utaff Grodon.  Here are the teams below.

Gordon emphasizes the community's role in promoting the growth and development of Savannah's youth. "We're excited to give high school student-athletes additional exposure, especially to HBCUs that are seriously interested," says Gordon. "This partnership between the Coastal Georgia Buccaneers, SCCPSS Athletics, and the Savannah community will move basketball forward in the Coastal Empire."

 

The showcase will also be a prelude to the Coastal Georgia Buccaneers' home opener against the Rocket City Flight, a TBL (The Basketball League) team from Huntsville, AL. The game will tip off at 7:00 pm and be broadcast live on the TBLTV Network. The Buccaneers look forward to playing in front of their home fans and challenging the Flight for the top spot in the Atlantic Southeast Conference.

 

Tickets for the showcase and the home opener are available online at tickets.cgbucs912.com. Fans who purchase tickets for both events can buy tickets for the event at a discounted rate.

- Buccaneers game time: 5:00 pm

- Showcase activities: 3-point and dunk contest at Halftime

 

The Coastal Georgia Buccaneers are a professional basketball team based in Savannah, GA, and a member of the TBL. The team was founded in 2022 and plays its home games at the Tiger Arena, located on the campus of Savannah State University. The team's mission is to provide high-quality entertainment and community engagement to Savannah and the Coastal Georgia region.
