Brooks, Price qualify for AJGA event on Parris Island

Savannah's Quentin Brooks, a member fo the Class of 2025, carded a score of 1-over 73 on June 2 at the Legends of Parris Island Golf Course to qualify for the the AJGA Junior at Parris Island to be played June 3-6.

Brooks joins Savannah's Braden Schnaible in the tournament field. The AJGA is considered the premier junior golf associatio in the world, as evidence by sponsor support from brands such as as TaylorMade Golf, Adidas Golf, Rolex, the PGA TOUR and United States Golf Association. The AJGA has conducted elite tournaments for junior golfers of both sexes since 1978, and the organization staged more than 200 events in 2023.

In the girls' qualifier, Richmond Hill's Hayden Price carded a score of 4-over par 76 to gain entry to the field but elected not to play in the event.
