Calvary girls cross country wins Savannah Private School meet

The Calvary girls' cross country team won the Savannah Private School Championship meet on October 20 with a total score of 47.

Calvary junior Kate Crunkleton led the Lady Cavs with a time of 23:03.27 and a 6th place finish. Other Lady Cavs in the top 10 included sophomore Amy Joiner with a time of 23:15.76 in 8th place, sophmore Madison Godbee with a time of 23:16.31 in 9th place and freshman Chloe Hoover with a time of 23:24.75 in 10th place.

Other Lady Cavs finishing the meet were junior Maddie Sheldon, freshman Audrey Buck, sophmore Carley Hurst and senior Lily Frye.

Savannah Country Day senior Kendall Lynes won the individual race with a time of 19:57.50, followed by Savannah Christian Preparatory School senior Kate Britt with a time of 20:50.87.
