BC cross country wins region championship

Benedictine Military School’s cross country team claimed the Georgia High School Assocation Region 1 championship for a third consecutive year on November 1 in Gray, Ga.
 
BC junior Cole Minnich earned the boys' individual region champion for the second year in a row, and BC placed six runners in the top 10. The victory was the Cadets' second win of the season, and Minnich won for the third time as an individual. 
 
Led  by head coach Maggie Rickard, BC will next travel to the GHSA State Championship meet being run on November 7 in Carrollton, Ga. 
 
BC results from the GHSA Region 1 Cross Country Meet:
Cole Minnich – 1st
Will Hoffman – 3rd
Ben Harvey – 4th
Tucker Hollis – 5th
Asher Herrin – 8th
Abdul Olubajo – 9th
