Catching up with the Optim Sports Medicine Calvary Day Athletes of the Week

Each week Calvary Day School will select one athlete as the Optim Sports Medicine Cavalier athlete of the week. The CDS coaching staff will choose a deserving athlete. The winner's name, picture, and accomplishment will be posted weekly on the Prep Sports Report website.

 

Kaylee Jeffcoat was the Calvary Day School Optim Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week for September 2, 2022. She is currently hitting  .778 average and has a hit in seven out of her last nine at-bats. In her previous three games, she has made two outstanding defensive plays. One was throwing a runner out at home from center field and a huge diving play to make a catch in center field!

Position: Center Fielder


The Calvary Day School Optim Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week for August 26, 2022, was Caden Arnold. He had 109 all-purpose yards vs. Islands, including one touchdown catch.

Position: Defensive back/Wide receiver


Freshman Talia Johnson was the first Calvary Day School Optim Sports Medicine Athlete of the Week announced on August 19, 2022. She was chosen for her consistent hustle, positive attitude, and outstanding performance in her Varsity Volleyball debut against the Habersham School and Effingham Country High School.
