Dreams do come true for Savannah Area local athletes on National Signing Day

SAVANNAH, Ga. — On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, National Signing Day, several Savannah area athletes put pen to paper on scholarship and athletic commitment agreements.

 

Hence, it must be accepted as fact. These college students are living the dream by participating in the sports they enjoy most and going to do it on the next level, the college level!

 

Benedictine Military School

Za'Quan Bryan signed with the University of Minnesota (Football)

Lamont Mitchell signed with Georgia Military College (Football)

 

 

Bethesda Academy

Jalil Calhoun signed with Savannah State University (Football)

 

 

Calvary Day School

Noah Gillian signed with Shorter University (Lacrosse)

Jalin Scott signed with Savannah State University (Football)

Terry Simmons Jr. signed with Duke University (Football)

Caleb Sineath signed with Erskine College (Baseball)

 

Effingham County High School

Timmy Brown signed with The Army University (Football)

Keion Wallace signed with Georgia Southern University (Football)

Richmond Hill High School

Zion Gillard signed with Peru State College (Football)

Dontae Goodner signed with Ripon College (Football)

 

Savannah Christian Preparatory School

Maggie Byrd signed with Kennesaw State University (Volleyball)

Jayden Hester signed with Georgia Military College (Football)

Akeem Lane signed with Central Georgia Technical College (Football)

Paulus Zittrauer signed with Franklin & Marshall College (Football)
