With the gym filled with spectators, the IHS Lady Sharks went up against the NW Whitfield Bruins on Wednesday October 28th in Islands High School Shark Tank.  In the first set, the Sharks came out looking fierce as they took on the Bruins.  The set was a nail biter, point for point, ending with a score of 29-27 in the Bruins favor.

In the second set, the Sharks fell behind early.  Unable to gain enough momentum, the Sharks would lose this set  25-15.  The third set was much better, with the Sharks scoring more points to make a comeback.  But the Bruins had a lot of determination not to let the Sharks outscore them and took the last set 25-20.

The Sharks finished the year with an amazing 25-4 record, a trip to the Elite 8, and Avery Burke Region 3 AAAA Player of the Year.
