Guess Who is Coming to Memorial Day School? Former NFL & MLB Great Brian Jordan

Memorial Day School is proud and privileged to welcome BRIAN JORDAN to our campus on Monday, November 15th at 9:00 AM

Brian Jordan is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and National Football League safety.   One of just a few who played in both the NFL and MLB ..... Jordan played for the Atlanta Falcons, while he played in MLB for the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Texas Rangers.

Jordan serves as a TV pre-game analyst for the Atlanta Braves on Braves

Live, the official pregame show on FSN South and SportSouth.  He is active in the Atlanta community with the Brian Jordan Foundation and authored the semi-autobiographical children's book I Told You I Can Play!

Memorial Day School will host Mr. Jordan in an assembly on Monday morning where he will address our entire school and then take time to read his storybook to our 2nd - 4th graders in the school's sanctuary.

The "Coach" Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine "The Prep Sports Report" in 2000. In 2010, the "Coach" started broadcasting The Karl DeMasi Sports Report. He's still going strong, broadcasting on Facebook live and Twitter live every Saturday morning. You gotta love it!
