High School Football Playoffs: Who's In? Who's Out?

The dream of winning a state title soon begins for Savannah's high school football teams, with Georgia High School State Association (GHSA) and South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) playoff action kicking off. Teams from the Savannah area that made the GHSA playoffs as posted on the Georgia High School Football Daily newsletter are Effingham County, Benedictine, Jenkins, Savannah Christian, Savannah Country Day, and Calvary Day. 

In SCISA, Bethesda Academy hosts Orangeburg Prep in SCISA's opening round on Nov. 8 for the first time ever on the Bethesda Campus. Fans get ready for first-round matchups starting Nov. 8 in SCISA and Nov. 15 for the GHSA as local teams fight for a spot in the next round. The local team matchups are below, as well as the most current region standings.
