Pooler's Hartley finsihes second in SJGT event

Savannah Country Day School junior Caden Hartley posted scores of 68-74 to finish second in the Boys 16-19 age division at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's King and Prince Junior Classic played at the King and Prince Golf Club on St. Simon's Island, Ga.

Hartley held a two stroke lead after a magnificent first round when he carded five birdies and only one bogey. Hartley made another four birdies in the second round but finished two strokes behind eventual winner Jack Merrill from Johns Creek, Ga.

Pooler's Elliott Oliver, a junior at Savannah Christian Preparatory School, posted scores of 72-75 to finish T7 for his second Top 10 finish on the SJGT in 2024.
