The Southern Showcase is a new tournament series launched in 2024 with the sole purpose of guiding elite junior golfers on their path to college recruitment and competitive golf.
There are currently four tournaments scheduled beginning with the Southern Showcase at Forest Heights December 7-8 at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga. All tournaments will be submitted to Juniog Golf Scoreboard and other junior golf ranking platforms.
Other events currently scheduled inclde The Southern Showcase at Hilton Head National at Hilton Head National Golf Club in Bluffton, S.C., January 25 - 26, The Southern Showcase at King And Prince St. Simon's at the King and Prince Golf on St. Simon's Island, Ga. February 8-9, and The Southern Showcase at Sea Palms at Sea Palms Resort & Conference Center on St. Simons Island, Ga. June 30 - July 1.
The tour expects to schedule between 8-10 events in 2025. The tour won't charge a membership fee and will host smaller-field tournaments to provide a unique opportunity for young athletes to showcase their talents in a focused, supportive environment.
The Southern Showcase will feature age-specific tournaments organized into three divisions: 11 & Under, 12-14, and 15-18. Each event will be a non-caddy format, encouraging junior golfers to develop independence and a deeper understanding of the game.
