Savannah's Maeda finishes second at Southeastern Junior Golf Tour event

Savannah's Kohki Maeda, a sophomore at Savannah Country Day School, carded a score of 3-under par 69 to claim second place at the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's Low Country Classic played May 2-3 at Sanctuary Golf Club in Waverly, Ga. 

The first round was canceled due to inclement weather, and Dublin's Braceton Beasley posted a score of 5-under par 67 to win the one-round event. Pooler's Caden Hartley, a senior at Savannah Country Day, also finished under par with a 1-under par 71 that earned a T4 finish. 

In 2025, Maeda carded scores of 71-67 to win the Low Country Classic played August 30-31 at Sanctuary.
