Savannah-Area Baseball All-Region Teams Announced

Several Savannah-area baseball players and coaches earned major postseason honors following the 2026 season. Benedictine was named Team of the Year in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class 4A Region 1, while Jason Pascual earned Coach of the Year honors. Benedictine’s Noah Harris was selected Co-Player of the Year and Co-Pitcher of the Year, and teammate Landen Harris was named Rookie of the Year. 

Another player to receive two honors, Liberty County's Glemon English earned Region Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year honors; Savannah Christian’s Chase Boyer was named Region Player of the Year, and South Effingham’s Evan Hollis earned Offensive Player of the Year honors.

Here is a look at the local players recognized from GHSA and a local Tri-state Independent league team this spring.

GHSA Class 6A Region 1

First Team — Richmond Hill: Noah Stone, Braxton Helsel, Joey Succi, Jax Pursley, Landon Walker, Grant Wagner.

Second Team — Richmond Hill: Bryson Helsel, Shane Tucker, Bryce Smith.

GHSA Class 5A Region 3 North

Effingham County: Kyle Thomas, Hunter Tuten, Kris Sweeny, Kaleb Pendley.

GHSA Class 5A South Region

Offensive Player of the Year — South Effingham’s Evan Hollis.

First Team — South Effingham’s Jacob Duncan; Bradwell Institute’s Aaron Milan.

GHSA Class 4A Region 1

Team of the Year — Benedictine.

Coach of the Year — Benedictine’s Jason Pascual.

Co-Player of the Year — Benedictine’s Noah Harris.

Co-Pitcher of the Year — Benedictine’s Noah Harris.

Rookie of the Year — Benedictine’s Landen Harris.

First Team — Benedictine’s Omari Burse, Kai Hernandez-Gambill, Mason Diamond, Mason O’Neil, Colvin Proto; New Hampstead’s Briar Miller.

GHSA Class 3A Region 3

Region Player of the Year — Liberty County’s Glemon English.

Offensive Player of the Year — Liberty County’s Glemon English.

First Team — Calvary Day’s Quinn Johnson, Waylan Heidik, Will Bauer, James Mobley; Liberty County’s Glemon English, Jaden Herrington; Islands’ Dylan Stewart, Mason McLaughlin; Jenkins’ Pedro Fabian, Charles Stuart; Southeast Bulloch’s Brady Edwards, Rhett Morgan, AJ Jackson; Long County’s Charlie Johnson, Peyton Batt.

Second Team — Calvary Day’s Dalton Kelley; Liberty County’s Shedrick Pass, Mahair Rodriguez, Caden Chancey; Islands’ Logan Balsamo, Andrew Harris, Marlon Zaragoza; Jenkins’ Brian Swinton, Jackson McKenzie, Jaden Ellison; Southeast Bulloch’s Kase Dye, Ethan Thompson; Long County’s Dylan Lester, Jeh’Miel Pettis, Luke Poppell, Braedon Chambless.

Honorable Mention — Calvary Day’s Mason Jeffress, Andrew Wallace; Liberty County’s AJ Gerace, Mike Miller; Islands’ Michael Cooler, Harrison Roelle; Jenkins’ Ronald Dunham, Trenton Harrelson; Southeast Bulloch’s Murphy Grovenstein, JP Cole; Long County’s Ethan Runyon.

GHSA Class A Division I Region 3

Region Player of the Year — Savannah Christian’s Chase Boyer.

Region Pitcher of the Year — Toombs County’s Ty Hutchinson.

First Team — Savannah Christian’s Griffin Graham, Brody Schuman, Cardin Patrick, Mason Omohundro; Savannah Country Day’s Carter Allen.

Second Team — Savannah Christian’s Brian Hong, Ethan Jones, Brantley Bilenski, Weston Hughes.

GHSA Class A Division II Region 3

First Team — Bryan County’s Eli Koskela.

Second Team — Bryan County’s Ashton Martin, Harrison Adams, Jordan Fabin.

Tri-State Independent League Coastal Division

All-Conference Team — Savannah Jaguars’ Abraham Contreras, Gabe Smith, Troy Devoe, and Rafael LaSorsa.

Honorable Mention — Savannah Jaguars’ Noah Dowd, Saul Issa.
