St. James wins SPAL golf championship

Led by an impressive score of 3-under par by 8th grader Zach Dao, St. James School won the SPAL Middle School Golf Championship in dominant fashion at Savannah Country Club on April 27.

The Chargers won by 16 strokes over runner up Savannah Country Day with a total score of 147.

Dao was the individual medalist, besting St. James 5th grader Rivers Hood by three strokes. Other counting scores for St. James included Creighton Jue with a 3-over 38 and Callen O'Neil with a 7-over 42. 

Savannah Country Day School's Alana Chu captured girls' individual medalist honors with a score of 7-over par 42, which tied teammate Sajni Patel.
