Hallie Rainwater is this week’s SCPS Raider Athlete of the Week! Hallie turned in great performances last week, hitting over .215 with 16 kills, 25 digs, and 4 aces in a couple of tough 3 set victories over H.H.C.A and Region 3A opponent St. Vincent’s Academy. Hallie has been playing volleyball for 6 years and says her favorite memory is anytime someone gets a great block or kill and the whole team gets excited. Hallie says her goal for this season is to have fun while playing and not get stressed or think about bad games while playing in her final season. Hallie says her favorite thing about being a Raider is all of the support from the other teams and students. When asked what it means to be named Athlete of the Week, Hallie said, “It’s an honor to be named AOTW because it makes me feel like my hard work is showing.”
