Savannah's Hamp Threlkeld, a junior at Benedicitne Military School, carded scores of 76-73 at the University of Georgia Golf Course to finish T10 in the Boys 16-19 age group at the SJGT UGA Invitational played September 14-15 in rainy, windy conditions in Athens, Ga.
Threlkeld has now recorded five top 10 finishes in six Southeastern Junior Golf Tour events in 2024.
Savannah's Jack Weeks, a sophmore at Benedictine, posted scores of 78-77 to finish T8 in the Boys 14-15 age group. Weeks now has three top 10 finishes in five Southeastern Junior Golf Tour events this year.
