SAVANNAH, GA – HV Jenkins High School announced today, June 27, 2025, that recent graduate DJ Rohan is taking his baseball talent to the next level, officially committing to Emmanuel University. A standout in the Coastal Empire, Rohan was named to the GHSA Region 3-3A All-Region First Team and the 2025 Savannah Morning News All-Greater Savannah Second Team.

Rohan put together a strong senior season for the Warriors, finishing with a .426 batting average and a .587 on-base percentage. He racked up 23 hits, 17 RBIs, and crossed home plate 30 times. On the base paths, he swiped 18 bags, and in the field, he held a .840 fielding percentage.

Not only did Rohan make an impact at the plate, but he also did damage on the mound. The lefty pitched 21.2 innings, striking out 39 batters while holding opponents to just a .209 ERA (Earned Run Average).

"DJ has been one of the most consistent leaders on and off the field this season," said HV Jenkins head coach Seth Gaspin. "Emmanuel University is getting a hardworking, talented athlete."

With his commitment sealed, Rohan will now prepare to join the Lions' baseball program, bringing speed, versatility, and a strong work ethic to the next level. He is the latest Jenkins standout to take his game to the college ranks.
