Dollander goes low to win Brunswick Junior Classic

Savannah's Bear Dollander, a freshman at Benedictine Military School, posted an incredible score of 6-under par in the second round of the Brunswick Junior Classic and won the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour event played at Brunswick Country Club April 27-28 by four strokes.

After a first round score of 3-over par 75, Dollander carded six birdies and no bogeys en route to a remarkable round and a victory. During the 36 hole event,  he recorded nine birdies en route to winning the Boys 16-19 age group and overall champion titles.

Also in the Boys 16-19 age group, Richmond Hill's Ledger Conley finished ffith after scores of 74-73 to finish 5-over par, and Savannah's Braden Schnaible carded a second round score of 2-under par 70 to climb into 11th place on the leaderboard.

In the Boys 145-15 age group, Pooler's Elliott Oliver, a sophomore at Savannah Christian Preparetory School, turned in rounds of 74-78 to finish 8-over par in 9th place, and Richmond Hill's Patrick Mahaffey finished T10 after rounds of 78-75 to finish 9-over par.

in the Boys 12-13 age group, Savannah's Carson Hayes posted scores of 74-79 to finish fouth. And in the Girls 12-19 age group, Savannah's Maya Lilja-Vazquez finsihed T4 after scores of 78-80.
