Chase was a two-year starter and a two-year letterman for the Raiders. Chase was first team all-region linebacker, all ESPN Savannah team, Savannah morning news, all greater Savannah football team and the Savannah Quarterback Club Defensive player of the week.

Grady Coppock a cross-country track and field athlete. Grady will continue his academics and athletics at Presbyterian College in South Carolina. His head coach Dee Dee Coulter had the privilege of presenting Grady at the signing ceremony.

Grady is the type of athlete coach’s dream of coaching. Along with being a Christian, Grady is very goal oriented and does the workouts and races to the best of his ability with all his heart.

Grady was on Track for a great senior season!  He had set a personal record in the 1600m (4:38.89) and 800m (2:07.59) in just four meets that he competed in 2020. Grady broke his own school record in the 1600m (4:38.89).  Grady was predicted to be 8th in the 800m and 4th in the 1600m at GHSA State Championships.  Grady competed in GHSA Track Championships for three of his four years at Savannah Christian.  For Track, Grady holds School Records in the 1600m, 4x800m and Distance Medley. Nate Moon Football/Head Coach Baker Woodward

Nate Moon a football player and will be attending Georgia Tech next year. Head football coach Baker Woodward had the honor to present another one of his Raider football players.

First of again I want to thank Nate’s parents, Nate and Andrea Moon. Nate is a four-year letterman and team captain.

Nate was a two-way started with impressive statistics on offense and defense. Offensively Nate finished with 136 carries for 897 yards and 13 touchdowns. Nate at 22 receptions for 387 yards and two touchdowns. Nate finished with 1476 all-purpose yards and 18 total touchdowns.

Nate was the defense player to year for the Savannah Quarterback Club, a member of the WJCL Big 22 team, Greater Athletic Coaches Association first-team all-state defense of team, Savannah Quarterback Club offensive player the week, GACA first-team all-state preseason player, and a GHSA Region 3A all region first-team.

Probably the most impressive thing that I have seen you do Nate is coming back after you got injured in helping our young guys learn the position and giving all you had to coach and develop our young talent. It was an honor to coach you and I know you will be successful in your next four years at Georgia Tech. Let’s go ahead and make it official to join the Ramblin wreck of Georgia Tech.

Jack McCarthy Soccer/Head Coach Erik Krotz

Jack McCarthy a soccer player and will be attending Brewton Parker next year. Head soccer coach Erik Krotz had the privilege introduced Jack at the signing ceremony.

Jack received three times the Leadership/Character award for Savannah Christian’s boy soccer team. As a freshman, Jack won the New-comer award. They have invited Jack to take part in over a half dozen All-Star games both locally and around the state.

Jack academically graduated in the top third of his class. He earned 32 high school units, which is the second in his graduating class. Jack took several HP dual enrollment classes, earning a score of 3 or above on a scale of 5 for his AP classes.

Jack’s best example of dedication was coming back from knee surgery his June the year. As preseason started, he was not sure he would return. Jack’s comeback was greatly received by his teammates and the coaching staff because he played his junior year not at 100 percent.

Jack work this off-season both in the weight room and with his club soccer teams coaching staff to improve. Jack dedicated itself to both adding strength in the weight room and endurance with almost daily workouts and roadwork. Jack will continue his soccer career at Brewton Parker.
