Get Your Kicks Today - GHSA Soccer Playoffs Kick Off Statewide Today

The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) soccer playoffs will kick off the first of five rounds today, April 22. The girls' games in classes A Division II, 4A, 5A, and 6A will start, and the boys' games in those same classes will take place the following night. Private, A Division I, 2A, and 3A girls will be on Thursday and boys on Friday. 

 

Championship games are set for May 13-15 at McEachern High School for boys and girls in Division I, 3A, and 6A. The 3A-A private, 4A, and 5A championships will occur from May 14-16 at Duluth High School, while A Division II and 2A will hold their championships at Mercer University on May 15-16. Girls' games will start at 5 p.m. each evening, with boys' games at 7:30.

Tuesday, April 22

Wheeler at Richmond Hill (Class 6A, No. 4 at No. 1) – 5:00 p.m.

Effingham County at Villa Rica (Class 5A, No. 4 at No. 1) – 5:30 p.m.

 

Wednesday, April 23

Weber School at Calvary (Class A-3A Private, No. 27 at No. 6) - 6:00 p.m.

 

Thursday, April 24

Christian Heritage at Savannah Country Day (Class A-3A Private, No. 31 at No. 2) – 4:00 p.m.

 

Mt. Bethel Christian at St. Vincent's (Class A-3A Private, No. 25 at No. 8) at Memorial Stadium – 5:00 p.m.

 

Savannah Christian at Athens Academy (Class A-3A Private, No. 26 at No. 7) – Time TBA

 

Islands at Luella (Class 3A, No. 27 at No. 6) – 6:00 p.m.

 

Hardaway at Savannah Arts (Class 2A, No. 30 at No. 3) at Daffin Park – 5:00 p.m.

 

Woodville-Tompkins at Fitzgerald (Class 1A D-I, No. 18 at No. 15) – 5:30 p.m.
