BRYAN COUNTY, Ga.: On June 18, 2024, Bryan County Middle High School announced on social media the appointment of Kyle Farmer as the new Bryan County Middle/High School head baseball coach. Coach Farmer, a well-known name in Savannah baseball, will replace Justin Covington.

Coach Farmer brings a wealth of experience to the baseball field as an alumnus of Calvary Day School in 2008, where he was a player on the Cavaliers Georgia High School Association state baseball championship teams in 2005 and 2007. After high school, he continued his career at Newberry College, and he honed his baseball coaching skills as an Assistant Coach at Benedictine Military School under the guidance of his brother, Kevin Farmer, and Head Baseball Coach Jason Pascual. Kyle was also a part of the his brothers Cadet coaching staff that brought two state GHSA championships in 2014 and 2018, which is a testament to his dedication and expertise.

Kevin Farmer sees this as an excellent opportunity for his brother. "It is a great opportunity for Kyle to implement his vision and knowledge for a high school baseball program and in a great school system and a supportive community."
