Hancock, St. Peter's tie for SPAL golf title; Dao earns low medalist honors

Propelled by low medalist Zach Dao, St. Peter the  Apostle tied Hancock Day School for the SPAL Middle School Golf Championship played April 10 at Southbridge Golf Club.

Dao posted a nine-hole score of 1-over 37 to capture low medalist, and the other counting scores for St. Peter the Apostle were Alex Dao with 46, Miller Cetti with 47 and Finn Kelly with 49. For Hancock, the counting scores were Carson Hayes with 41, Creighton Jue with 46, Beau Geriner with 46 and Bay Borak with 46.

 

 

 

 

 

In the Girls Division, St. Andrew's was the team winner with a total score of 103, and St. Andrew's 7th grader Savannah Lane was the low medalist with a score of 6-over par 42.
