Guyton's Adler Saxton won the Boys 14-15 age group at a Drive, Chip & Putt local qualifier on July 10 at The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation in Summerville, S.C.

Saxton scored 59 points on Driving, 45 points on Chipping and won the Putting category with 70 points. His 174 total points were 58 points more than the runner up in the Boys 14-15 age group.

Saxton advances to the Sub Regional qualifier that will be played August 23 at the Fort Jackson Golf Club in Fort Jackson, S.C.

Drive, Chip & Putt is a joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, United States Golf Association and The PGA of America. It's a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf.

Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals, which is conducted at Augusta National Golf Club the Sunday before the Masters Tournament and is broadcast live by Golf Channel.
