Savannah Christian Preparatory School junior Mary Miller has committed to play collegiate golf at Georgia Southern University.
Miller is one of the highest ranked junior golfers in Georgia and won the 2022 Georgia Girls' at the Callway Gardens Mountain View Course. Miller's victory made her the first junior golfer to win a Georgia State Golf Association junior championship since Brian Harman won back to back Georgia Junior Championships in 2002 and 2003.
Her junior career highlights are too many to count, but she qualified twice - in 2016 and 2022 - for the Drive, Chip & Putt finals at Augusta National Golf Club. In 2022, she also finished T6 at the prestigious Junior North & South Amateur in Pinehurst, N.C, on the famed Pinehurst #2 and Pinehurst #6 courses, and she finished 8th at the 2022 Georgia Women's Amateur at TPC Sugarloaf in Duluth, Ga.
In 2021, Miller finished third at the Georgia Women's Amateur as high school sophoore at the Oakridge course at The Landings Club. In 2020 she was honored as the Girls Stroke Average Award winner by the Georgia PGA Junior Tour, averaging a score of 73.5 during 8 rounds and finished in the Top 2 in all five tournaments she entered, including two victories.
As an 8th grader, Miller won the Georgia Southern Junior Classic, a PGA Georgia Section Junior Tour event played at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course.
