Memorial Day School Receives Two Spots in the GISA Football All-Star Game

Two Memorial Day School players received honors by being named to play in the 2021 Georgia Independent Schools Association (GISA)  football All-Star Game. The game will take place on December 10 at John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, Georgia. 


The two Matadors are seniors, Keyeon Scruggs, 6'3", a wide receiver, Josh Carpenter as a kicker, and will be on the GISA Red Team.

The "Coach" Karl DeMasi has been teaching and coaching for the past 35 years on all levels of academia and athletics. One of his hobbies has been writing, announcing and talking about sports. DeMasi has been involved in the Savannah Area sports scene since 1995, and he created the high school magazine "The Prep Sports Report" in 2000.
