New Hampstead's Brown named to flag football all state team

New Hampstead junior Gianna Brown was named to the Georgia Flag Football Coaches Association Division 1 All State Team announced on February 13.
 
On offense, Brown racked up 527 receiving yards on 31 receptions, 17 receiving touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. On defense, she accumulated 117 flag pulls (tackles), six interceptions and one interception returned for touchdown.
 
New Hampstead finsihed the 2023 season with a 19-1 record and a 9-0 record in Division I Area 2.
