Girls interested in flag football still have a chance to get on the field this week.

The opening session of the Girls Flag Football Camp was canceled because of weather, but the camp continues tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Morris Field.

The free camp is open to high school players and will be led by Coach Grassi.

Coach Grassi and his staff will work with players on route running, defensive techniques, and game situations through drills and 5-on-5 competition.

With girls' flag football continuing to grow across Georgia and the Coastal Empire, this camp provides a great opportunity for athletes to learn the game, improve their skills, and connect with other players.

Players can attend individually, and teams are also welcome.

If you missed the first night because of the weather, don't miss your chance to take part in one of the area's fastest-growing sports.
