The US Kids Golf Savannah Local Tour visited Golden Bear Golf Club at Indigo Run on Hilton Head Island, on September 27 and two Benedictine Military School golfers claimed dominant victories in their age groups.
BC senior Finn Nixon captured the Boys 15-18 age group with a round of 1-over par 73 that included an eagle on the final hole to close out a second-nine score of 3-under par 33. He won by seven strokes over runner up Clayton Wert from Guyton, Ga.
And in the Boys 13-14 age group, BC freshman Zach Dao also carded a score of 1-over par 73 to win a whopping 12 strokes over runner up Saxon Dupree from Augusta, Ga. Dao birdied three of his final four holes to put an exclamation point on his victory.
