As we head into Week 5, here are the current standings, schedule, and MaxPreps rankings for the Savanah Area. After Week 4, Richmond Hill (3-0) and Savannah Christian (4-0) are the only local teams still undefeated in the Prep Sports Report coverage area.
MaxPreps rankings through Week 4 highlights #1 Savannah Christian, #2 Benedictine, and #3 Richmond Hill as top performers from the Savannah area. Richmond Hill (3-0) earned a notable win over New Hampstead 47-28, while Savannah Christian (4-0) dominated Oceanside S.C. 44-20. Benedicitne (1-2) had a bye and because of the Cadets strength of scedule are #2 in the MaxPreps rankings.
In Class 6A, Richmond Hill is positioned well for the upcoming home matchup against Wayne County. In GHSA Class 3A-A Georgia High School Football Daily Rankings, #1 Savannah Christian hits the road and is headed to Roswell, Georgia, to face #4 Fellowship Christian (2-1) this Friday night.
