Savannah's Rivers Hood, an 8th grader at St. James Catholic School, posted scores of 38-36 for a two-day total of 4-over par 74 to finish 10th in the Boys 10-Under division at the Press Thornton Future Masters played June 23-24 at Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Alabama.
The Future Masters is celebrating its 75th anniversary and is one of the most prestigious junior golf events in the world. Hood finished seven strokes behind Boys 10-Under champion Ethan Li from Plain City, Ohio.
