Four standout athletes from Savannah Christian Preparatory School are set to continue their sports careers at the collegiate level, representing schools in Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia. Each has made a name in their sport with hard work, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments. SCPS also recognized the Raiders State champions from last year's Golf and Track and Field season.
Maggie Kyriakides, an outside hitter, will bring her volleyball skills to the University of Alabama. Kyriakides set the school's record for kills. In her senior year, she was named Area 3-A Player of the Year and recognized as a Georgia Volleyball Coaches Association All-State player. As a junior, she was the Savannah Morning News Greater Savannah Volleyball Player of the Year. Roll Tide!
In softball, Hannah Jane Gard was a consistent batter and defensive player for the Raiders during her career at SCPS. She signed with Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.
