ST. ANDREW’S NAMES NEW ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

St. Andrew’s is pleased to announce that Ms. Amanda Waters has accepted the position of Athletic Director for the independent school. Amanda joins the school from Mater Dei in Santa Ana, CA, where she has served as Athletic Director to one of the most competitive athletic programs of any independent school nationwide. Prior to that, she served as Athletic Director, coach (basketball and softball), and teacher at Carlsbad High School. Waters’ appointment begins late spring in preparation for the summer and 2021/22 school year.

“I am extremely excited to be a part of the St. Andrew’s community,” said Waters. “Their ‘care for students’ philosophy is exactly what I am looking for. My family and I are excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to be a part of the St. Andrew’s family.”

Amanda Waters is the co-founder of the National Athletic Director Resource Network, hosting and leading a monthly meeting for Athletic Directors across the country with esteemed coaches and leaders from various programs as guests. She holds numerous awards and honors for her accomplishments as an athlete and as athletic director.
