SAVANNAH, Ga. — St. Andrew’s School has named Daniel Jackson as the new head coach for the varsity girls basketball team.
Jackson brings more than a decade of coaching and athletic leadership experience from Calvary Day School, where he most recently served as assistant director of athletics and head coach of the varsity girls basketball team. During his tenure, he led Calvary to a 2023–24 region championship and a Sweet 16 appearance in the Georgia High School Association state tournament. In the 2024–25 season, his team reached the Elite Eight and finished as region runner-up.
He was named Coach of the Year for the 2023–24 season and earned the Greg Oliver Memorial Award in recognition of his impact on and off the court. His teams were recognized for their consistency, discipline and defensive strength, drawing local media attention for their dominant performances as playoff contenders.

Jackson holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration, sociology and justice studies from Georgia Southern University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in executive leadership through Liberty University. He is a Registered Athletic Administrator and a member of both the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association and the Georgia Athletic Directors Association.
